I love chocolate! Any chocolate! So when it comes to chocolate cake I want that rich chocolate flavour. I don’t want a dry brown cake that kind of tastes a bit like it, which when I first started baking I found many recipes resulted in.

Left disappointed, I experimented with different methods and created this Ultimate Chocolate Cake recipe, which will give you a moist and rich chocolate sponge that can be paired with so many complimentary filling
flavours too.

I use this recipe for all chocolate cakes, including single tier buttercream and sugarpaste decorated cakes, birthday and wedding cakes with stacked tiers too.
